Types of Accounts
- Regular Share Accounts
The credit union share is the most
common form of saving in a credit union. This account pays a dividend annually and you have 100% access
to your savings.
- Special Term Accounts
The Special term Accounts offer a tax efficient
savings option to our members subject to certain terms and conditions. Terms are 3 years and 5 years and
accounts are DIRT exempt up to certain limits.
- Special Share Accounts
Similar to the regular share account except the
Credit Union pays DIRT tax of 20% of dividend earned direct to the Revenue commissioners on behalf of the member.
